“ Enchiladas deluxe was ordered. Nice portions, great taste, VERY reasonable prices. Plus, they don't charge extra for chips & salsa with the meals to go. VANESSA was the server & is very efficient, kind & attentive. ”
“ Amazing food unusually get the chili Colorado and guacamole. Have tried many items and no complaints. Their steak Mexicano is also good. Affordable and friendly staff. Always clean. They just need a bigger place because they are always packed. It’s not a bad thing to have to wait though it just means it’s good. ”
“ They're pricey, but the food is pretty good. ”
“ This is one of the place I miss about Tahlequah the most! (Aside from family and some friends...) Mom and I were back in the area a couple of months ago, and this is the place we HAD to go to. The chips are thin and crispy, the salsa is great! We had the chicken soup - and it was fantastic as usual! Service was good, people were helpful and friendly - the same family has had this place for YEARS. If you're a local, you already know it's great - if you're passing through, give it a try, you won't be disappointed! ”
“ In our opinion, this is the best restaurant in town. We have been dining at this location for years, and if they ever close, we will stop eating Mexican food. They have wonderful service, fantastic food, and a family-friendly atmosphere. El Zarape's is usually packed, but the wait is definitely worth it. ”
“ I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience here. Even when they’re packed the service is on point. They are sure to not let any customers feel forgotten, or like they are less appreciated than anyone. The food comes out fast, hot, and delicious. They go above and beyond to make sure your visit isn’t your last. Love it! ”
“ Always a great experience when we go to eat there food is always good ”
“ Have eaten there 3x, ordering the fried Tilapia dinner, which is the BEST ever!!! The meal did take a while to come to the table on my 1st visit, but they were very busy that night and the waiter apologized. Not a problem when less busy. Oh boy, it is an amazing meal with grilled onions underneath the fish that was not breaded, thankfully. It doesn't come with rice and beans or Sour Cream, but I ordered them as sides. The flan was very good! I ordered an extra meal of tamales for the next day, but they were very dry and not tasty. I had plenty of the Tilapia dinner to take home, as well. The waiter was awesome! One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever tried! ”
